The American bald eagle was adopted as the national bird symbol of the United States of America in 1782. The bald eagle was chosen for its majestic beauty, great strength, long life, and because it's native to North America.
The founders of the United States were fond of comparing their new republic with the Roman Republic, in which eagle imagery (usually involving the golden eagle) was prominent. On June 20, 1782, the Continental Congress adopted the design for the Great Seal of the United States depicting a bald eagle grasping 13 arrows and an olive branch with thirteen leaves, with its talons.

The birdhouse is made from environmentally safe and biodegradable material, PLA. Polylactic acid (PLA) is a thermoplastic polymer made from renewable resources (specifically corn starch or sugar cane). It is safe for wildlife and is considered a green product. We strive to create our birdhouses and feeders to enhance Gods gifts, our natural surroundings and safeguard wildlife.
